These terms govern the use of the ¿Cuándo fue? (“When was it?”) application (“the app”), offered by Sergio Asenjo Alcalde. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms.

Using the app

The app is free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on your devices in accordance with these terms and with the terms of the store you downloaded it from.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile or attempt to extract the app’s source code, except where the law allows it, nor use it to access other people’s data or overload its servers.

Your account

When you start, a guest account is created. If you don’t link it to Google, your garden depends on this installation: if you uninstall the app or lose your phone, you won’t be able to recover it. Linking it with Continue with Google lets you recover it on another device and share a household.

You are responsible for the activity on your account. We may suspend it if it is used to break these terms or the law.

Shared households

When you share a household, the other members see and can change the tasks, and see everyone’s history and notes. Only invite people you trust.

  • Whoever creates the household is its host: they can remove a member and, if they leave, hand the household over to someone else.
  • If you leave a household or delete your account, what you did stays in the household’s history under “former member”.
  • Invitations are single-use and expire after 48 hours.

Your content

Task names, notes and the names you write are yours and you are responsible for them: they must not infringe third-party rights or the law. We only use them to make the app work, as explained in the privacy policy.

Reminders

Reminders are an aid, not a guarantee: they may be delayed or not arrive because of the phone’s battery settings, denied permissions or other reasons. Don’t rely on the app for important obligations, such as legal, medical or safety deadlines.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, illustrations, music, code and the SpinoLabs brand belong to Sergio Asenjo Alcalde. These terms don’t transfer any rights over them to you.

Availability and changes

We work to make the app run well, but we don’t guarantee it is free of errors or available at all times. We may update, change or withdraw the app or any of its features. If we ever stop offering it, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can export your garden.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app or for data lost from guest accounts that were never linked. Nothing above limits your rights under consumer protection law.

Leaving

You can stop using the app whenever you want and delete your account from Settings → Delete account and data. We explain it in Delete your account and data.

Changes to these terms

If we change them, we’ll update this page and its “Last updated” date. If the change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence.
