To help you faster, include your phone model, Android version and app version (you’ll find it in Android Settings → Apps → A Juicio).
Frequently asked questions
Why does it need notification access?
It’s the only way to know which apps alert you, when, and what you do with their alerts, and to remove the alerts of the apps you convict. Android warns that the app could read them all because the permission is all-or-nothing, but it only records which app sent the alert, when, and what you did: never the title or the text. You can revoke the permission whenever you like in Android Settings → Notifications → Notification access.
The “A Juicio” toggle is greyed out
This happens on Android 13 or later with apps installed outside Google Play (“restricted settings”). Go to Android Settings → Apps → A Juicio, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Allow restricted settings. Then turn access on again.
I see “The watchman is off duty”
Your phone isn’t letting the app run in the background, so no notifications are being recorded. It happens mostly on Xiaomi (MIUI), Huawei, Oppo and other skins with aggressive battery saving. Tap “Fix it”, turn on Autostart if it appears and remove the battery restrictions for A Juicio.
I don’t see any figures in the dock
At first the app needs a few hours of evidence before the figures are reliable; meanwhile you’ll see the “Investigation under way” notice. Use your phone normally and the dock will fill up.
I don’t want it to watch WhatsApp (or another app)
In App settings → Excluded apps you can choose which apps are not put on trial. Messaging and calling apps appear first as suggestions, and you can exclude them all at once.
I convicted an app and now I need its alerts
Open the “Sentences” tab and tap “Revoke” on that app. Its notifications come through normally again from then on.
How do I delete my data?
It’s all on your phone. Go to App settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app. There are no accounts and no copies on any server.
What data does the app collect?
None: everything stays on your phone. It’s explained in the privacy policy.
